Chawan

This chawan was made in my small pottery workshop here in Taiwan.

I used local Taiwanese clay and then applied a black matte glaze.
The foot ring was hand carved, adding originality and uniqueness.

The humble form of a chawan has always intrigued me. Each has its own personality - just like us.
Be the owner of a hand made tea bowl, made on the beaitiful island of Taiwan.
