Chawan

This chawan was made in my pottery studio in Taiwan. I used Japanese porcelain clay and then applied an original glaze.

The kiln was fired to 1280 degrees Celsius, making the bowl dishwasher-safe.

I love making tea bowls as each develops their character on the wheel.
