Handmade Wood-Fired Tea Bowl

This tea bowl was crafted from fine porcelain clay and finished with a clear glaze. It spent four days in a traditional wood-fired kiln, where the flames and fly ash left natural marks on the surface. The ash melted into the glaze, creating subtle patterns and textures that arose from the firing process itself.

Wood firing is unpredictable and full of surprises—each piece comes out differently. No two bowls are ever alike, and this tea bowl carries its own quiet character from the kiln.
