Chawan

This chawan was crafted using a blend of Japanese and Taiwanese clays, creating a unique harmony between the two materials. The foot ring was carefully hand-carved, reflecting traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail. It is finished with a classic Japanese Shino glaze, known for its warm, nuanced surface and depth of character.

The bowl measures 12 cm in width and 8 cm in height. It was fired to cone 10 in a reduction atmosphere, allowing the glaze to develop rich variations in tone and texture.
