Chawan

This chawan was crafted using a blend of Japanese and Taiwanese clays, creating a unique harmony between the two materials. The foot ring was carefully hand-carved, reflecting traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail. It is finished with a classic Japanese Shino glaze, known for its warm, nuanced surface and depth of character.

The bowl measures 13 cm in width and 8.5 cm in height. It was fired to cone 10 in a reduction atmosphere, allowing the glaze to develop rich variations in tone and texture.
