Chawan

This porcelain tea bowl was made in my small pottery workshop in Taiwan. I used Japanese porcelain and then applied a white glaze that contained a faint hint of blue to it.

I love making tea bowls as each is different and has its own personality - a lot like us!

I also enjoyed adding some brush strokes to this bowl.
The map of Taiwan is found stamped into the clay.
