Tea Bowl

This tea bowl was hand-formed from Taiwanese clay and wood-fired in Taiwan for four days. During the firing, natural wood ash settled onto the surface, creating areas of soft, flowing ash glaze. The bowl was made loosely in the spirit of wabi sabi, embracing imperfection and natural beauty. My hope is that this piece brings warmth and pleasure to someone’s daily life—that is what inspires me to make pots.
