Tokkuri

This handmade sake tokkuri is crafted from a blended Japanese and Taiwanese clay body and finished with a pine ash glaze. Areas of the vessel are intentionally left unglazed, allowing the raw clay to remain visible and creating a quiet contrast between surface and form. 

Reduction fired to 1280°C, the glaze develops natural variation unique to each firing. The maker’s seal is stamped at the base of the tokkuri.
