Vase

I made this vase on the potter’s wheel, wanting it to have its own character and a sense of asymmetry that feels alive. It was made from black clay from Japan and wood-fired for four days, which gave it a natural warmth and depth that can’t be repeated. This piece is one of a kind and carries the quiet marks of the firing process.

It would make a nice addition to a home, whether on a dining table, a shelf, or any space that could use a touch of handmade charm.
