Vase

This bud vase was made from Japanese black clay and reduction fired to cone 10. While throwing it on the wheel, I intentionally tore the opening, a gesture meant to reflect impermanence—the reminder that nothing lasts forever. This idea guided me as I shaped the vase, allowing the form to speak to both fragility and beauty.
