Vase

This distinctive vase is wheel-thrown from rich Taiwanese clay and shaped into a bottle form. After throwing, it was distorted by hand to introduce a sense of movement and spontaneity—each curve telling its own story.

The surface is finished with a combination of natural wood ash glaze and shino glaze, creating a nice interplay of textures and tones. The shino glaze shimmers with subtle iridescence in places, catching the light in a way that adds depth and mystery to the piece.
