Yunomi

While throwing, I distorted the form with a wooden tool to enhance the drinking experience and bring a sense of character and individuality to the piece. I believe handmade pots hold a special quality—one that invites quiet appreciation through daily use. It is this connection between hand, material, and user that inspires me to keep making pottery.
