Yunomi (Tea Cup)
Made from black Japanese clay, this yunomi is glazed inside and around the lip with a warm orange shino. A bold layer of white shino wraps around the body, creating a striking interplay of contrast and texture. During firing, the glazes reacted in subtle, unexpected ways—soft transitions, flashes of warmth, and areas of quiet depth. Made in the spirit of wabi-sabi, this cup invites both visual and tactile appreciation, offering moments of calm reflection with each use.
